Even though the implementation of the MSG Leaders Summit was postponed, the people of West Papua remain optimistic and enthusiastic about taking to the streets to support full membership.
(1). The United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) is a political organization that legally represents the political aspirations of the Papuan people in an effort to fight for the right to self-determination for the people and Papuan nation of the western part of the New Guinea island to gain independence and sovereignty from foreign colonialism.
(2). We the people of West Papua declare that we fully support the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP), hereinafter referred to as the Provisional Government of West Papua, to become a full member of the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) the official as representation of West Papua from Sorong-Merauke.
(3). We the people of West Papua firmly declare that the colonial presence of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in the MSG does not represent the people and nation of Papua from Sorong-Merauke.
(4). We fully declare our support and recognition of the ULMWP, hereinafter referred to as the West Papua Interim Government, attending the Summit-MSG or MSG Leader Summit in Port Vila, Vanuatu representing the people and nation of Papua from Sorong-Merauke.
The postponement of the Leaders' Summit does not break our fighting spirit and consistency to keep advancing for the independence and sovereignty of West Papua!
